There was a time when everything was so big and over the years the development of technology made those things smaller and smaller yet with the capacity which is greater as the development passes by. The closest to having mobile music then was having a big stereo over one’s shoulder as he (usually) walks down the road with ears touching the speakers for listening pleasure. A baby is in the house! Well, it’s not really in my house but in my cousin’s house. His wife recently gave birth. A birth will always remind us of things that a baby needs. And as a relative, the usual step after a baby is welcomed into this wide, wide world is to do our part in getting what the baby needs.

What can be on my list to give to our cute baby? Well, baby clothes, a crib, toys and a baby bedding – these and more can be given us gifts to welcome the baby into our lives. And of course, part of the list should be our love and concern for this new life in our midst.

New House, New Furniture

I am excited to see the new house of my friend. She has told me before that she and her husband have saved for years so that they could buy their own property. Prior to buying furniture for her new house, my friend had gathered some furniture ideas from our other friends. Our mutual friend had encouraged her in the past to have a spacious patio. This friend had also told us before where to get beautiful patio sets for our future houses.

I know that not everyone might opt for a patio in their property but for me, I would love to have one. I am curious as to how the patio looks in my friend’s new house. Well, my husband and I are going to visit her soon and find out for ourselves.
